fbsd simply rules for server environment the only reason I’m not using fbsd is because there’s better hardware support in Linux. Things like my wacom tablet only has Windows & Linux drivers :( While the above reason prevents me from using fbsd for desktop purpose… for some others, fbsd is enough and has very good features tailored to servers. It took me a while to get internet on Linux… I needed to set up PPPoE what you need to do on Gentoo is recompile kernel with pppoe support, then install this: http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/rp-pppoe/ it should already be in portage though :) gotta love ports (FreeBSD) or it’s variant - portage (Gentoo) :D
